Day 1 Bagdogra/NJP arrival – Gangtok

Our car driver will be there to receive you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport. You will be assisted for the transfer – Transfer to Gangtok – Nearly 120 Kilometers 4 hours drive – Gangtok – The capital of the 22nd State of India, Sikkim is one of the most beautiful hill station with varied options for tourist – It is known for the monastery, Orchids, High altitude Lake and butterflies – It has option for tourist of all ages – Check into Hotel –Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Gangtok- Tsomgo Lake

Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers and 2 hours drive -Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet – The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep – Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds . Nearby optional sightseeing Nathula Pass.- Transfer to Gangtok – Overnight stay at Gangtok

Nathula Pass (14137 Ft / 4310 Mts) Indo China Border (closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourist), visit is limited to Indian nationals only, allowed on the basis of advance permit & on extra cost. For rate, kindly refer to Supplement & Optional Cost Column, given below the main package cost.

• 1.      Documents for Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, School Id / College Id are a must. Original to be brought with self while travelling.
• 2.      Incase visit to Tshangu Lake is not possible, due to landslide or any other unforeseen reasons, alternative sightseeing will be provide.
• 3.      Process for Foreigner, OCI & PIO Card holder are completely different, kindly inform us well in advance to plan out the itinerary accordingly.

Day 3 Gangtok – Pelling (4-5 hrs)

After Breakfast –Drive for visit to Enchey Monastery, Bakthang waterfalls, Nam Nang view point, Ropeway (On direct payment), Flower Show, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology & Do Drul Chorten (Stupa).etc – Back to hotel – After lunch Drive to Pelling – 120 kilometers 4-5  Hours drive. Pelling is at an altitude of 6800 feet / 2072 meters – On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow capped mountains peaks like Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu etc – Overnight stay at hotel in Pelling

Day 5 Pelling Sightseeing

 After breakfast, proceed for Pelling local sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery, Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing of Rimbi Water fall, Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchanjunga Water falls. Overnight at hotel in Pelling.

Day 5 Pelling to Darjeeling (5 to 6 hrs)

After breakfast, checkout and transfer to Darjeeling. On reaching Darjeeling, check in and overnight at hotel. Darjeeling hill station is situated at / 2046 Mts, and is famous for endless tea gardens spread across large hilly terrain producing high quality tea and world heritage “Darjeeling Hill Railway”. Overnight at Hotel in Darjeeling. Today wind down early if you are planning to visit Tiger Hills.

Note – Optional Trip

Detour for Sing shore Bridge (5904 Ft / 1800 Mts, 26 Kms / 1.5 to 2 Hrs drive one way from Pelling). For rate, kindly refer to Supplement & Optional Cost Column, given below the main package cost.

Day 6 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Today Early morning at around 0400 am (subject to clear weather) for visit to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts) to view the sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third highest peak in the world). Back to hotel for breakfast visit bataisa loop.

After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of local Darjeeling covering Peace Pagoda,**Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, ***Tibetan   Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Panoramic tour of Tea Estate. Back to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Note:

1.      * Tiger Hill visit is subjected to availability of coupons, as only 600 vehicles are allowed in the morning. In case of non availability of coupons we will provide the Tiger Hill visit after breakfast.

Optional Trip

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) popularly known as Joy Train Ride. For rate, kindly refer to Supplement & Optional Cost Column, given below the main package cost.

Day 7 Darjeeling- Departure – Tour ends

Morning breakfast – After breakfast transfer to NJP / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Nearly 80 kilometers 3 hours drive. Guest are advised to start early and not to rush Forwarding Journey.

Notes –

1. Its advisable to book flights departing late afternoon from Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station so that ample time is available for travel from Darjeeling.
2. If guest are booking Heli ride from Darjeeling to Bagdogra, kindly note its operations are irratic and highly dependent upon clerar weather conditions. Slightest changes may result in last minute cancellations. In case the Helitaxi is cancelled new transfer can only be arranged with local taxi and may not be as per our standards.

Notes –

Tsmogo Lake, New Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass are situation is under Military zone and inner line permits are required to visit these areas. Which are issued a day prior by Security establishment assessing weather and security situation. In case of non issuance of permission or Non availability of permits alternative sightseeing will be provided.
